Project Manager

Job Duties:

  • Implement a construction schedule with project deliverables and milestones

  • Keep inventory of tools, equipment and machinery

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or related field

Strong knowledge of construction management best practices

Fluency in software programs related to construction management, including project management software

Current with rules and regulation related to construction

2+ years of project management experience

Prior experience managing a construction site

Experience leading a construction crew

Proven risk management experience in construction projects

Commercial Framing Foreman

Project sights will include new construction commercial buildings, hotels, multi-family housing and single family residences.

The carpenter foreman position is a working position and the candidate must demonstrate a consistent ability to lead by example as well as participate in carrying out objectives necessary to completing projects. Essential duties and responsibilities:

  • Interpersonal Skills and Leadership Ability. Ability to lead, train, motivate, monitor, mentor, manage other skilled and non-skilled workers in performance of construction tasks. Be able to communicate effectively whether in person, on the phone, or via email. Ability to resolve conflicts or miscommunications that may occur on-site quickly and amicably.

  • Utilize organizational skills with respect to jobsite organization, crew management, product scheduling, and required record keeping.

  • Timekeeping- Monitoring and keeping accurate hours for every employee on payroll daily and recording such for the company.

  • Apply common sense understanding to carry out written or oral instructions.

  • Read and thoroughly understand blueprint information and effectively produce and install components in compliance with such information as directed.

  • Critical thinking skills- Ability to plan and execute tasks in an efficient order, and plan ahead for the next days work, etc.

  • Problem solving skills - Ability to able to deal with problems created by variables from standard situations on a daily basis.

  • Demonstrated reliability and ability to be on time. Must have a current driver’s license and reliable transportation.

  • Comply with all company policies, safety rules and regulations.

  • Emphasizing the safe use of tools, machinery, and equipment including training on safety gear, helmets and procedures.

  • Maintain strict quality standards.

  • Have strong knowledge of all phases of construction scope and sequence.

  • Utilize JLG, Genie, Skylifts etc. with all safety measures and adequate training.

  • Reporting project status to supervisors, site engineers and officials regularly.

  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Education and/or Experience: No formal education required, but must have substantial experience and/or the ability to perform to the company’s satisfaction all of the duties and responsibilities as outlined above.

Knowledge of:

  • Carpentry (framing, finish)

  • Siding Installation

  • Window & Door Installation

  • Hardware Installation

  • Cabinet Installation

Qualifications

  • 5+ Years of Framing Experience Required

  • 1+ Years of Foreman/ Supervisory/ Leadership Experience Required

  • Driver’s License- Reliable transportation

  • Flexible work schedule and ability to work overtime/ weekends as needed.

  • Must be punctual, reliable and honest.

  • Must be willing and able to climb ladders, roofing etc. and work at height.

  • Ability to do physical labor and other strenuous physical tasks.

  • Weight Restriction: 75 LB MINIMUM

Wage starts at $22 or more based on experience. Pay will be based on demonstrated ability, with a 90 day review of pay. The more you can make the company, the more we can and will pay you.

Framing Carpenter

Project sights will include new construction commercial buildings, hotels, multi-family housing and single family residences.

Job Duties:

  • Operate tools including nail gun, hammer, and tape measure.

  • Read, understand, and build according to construction plans.

  • Framing walls and roof structures, installing windows, entry and other doors and door openings, installing wrap.

  • Work with other crew members in a safe, productive and enjoyable work environment.

  • Work at Height.

Knowledge of:

  • Carpentry (framing)

  • Window & Door Installation

  • Hardware Installation

Qualifications

  • 1+ years Framing Experience Required

  • Driver’s License- Reliable transportation

  • Must be punctual and reliable.

  • Flexible work schedule and ability to work overtime/ weekends as needed

  • Must be willing and able to climb ladders, roofing etc. and work at height.

  • Ability to do physical labor and other strenuous physical tasks.

General Laborer

Project sights will include new construction commercial buildings, hotels, multi-family housing and single family residences.

Job Duties:

  • Operate and care for construction equipment and machines.

  • Help equipment operator, carpenters, and other skilled labor when necessary.

  • Prep construction sites by cleaning obstacles and hazards.

  • Load or unload construction materials.

  • Put together and take apart temporary structures, such as scaffolding.

  • Follow instructions from supervisors.

  • Ready to learn from on-the-job training when necessary.

  • Perform site clean-up.

  • Work at height.

  • Work with other crew members in a safe, productive and enjoyable work environment.

Qualifications

  • Some experience preferred, but not required.*

  • Driver’s License- Reliable transportation

  • Flexible work schedule and ability to work overtime/ weekends as needed

  • Ability to do physical labor and other strenuous physical tasks.

  • Ability to work in all weather.
